These Text Messaging Terms & Conditions apply to text messages sent by Harris Marine Financing, Inc. (“Harris Marine Financing,” “HMF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Harris Marine Financing Text Messaging Program
After opting in to receive text messages from Harris Marine Financing, you may receive limited administrative, transactional, and customer-service messages concerning your inquiry or transaction.
Messages may include:
- Requests to contact our office by telephone or email;
- Confirmation that documents or information have been received;
- Requests to provide documents or information through an appropriate method;
- General transaction-status notifications that do not disclose sensitive or financial information;
- Scheduling information;
- Document-signing or closing logistics;
- Vessel documentation matters;
- Title or registration matters when applicable;
- Document delivery or pickup information; and
- Other routine administrative customer-service communications related to your transaction.
Harris Marine Financing does not use text messaging to discuss or transmit applications, credit information, credit decisions, rates, terms, approvals, denials, account information, Social Security numbers, banking information, payment instructions, or other sensitive financial information.
If a matter involves sensitive or financial information, we will ask you to communicate with Harris Marine Financing by another appropriate method.
The Harris Marine Financing text messaging program is limited to administrative, transactional, and customer-service communications.
2. Consent to Receive Text Messages
You may consent to receive text messages from Harris Marine Financing through an affirmative opt-in method that we make available.
By opting in, you authorize Harris Marine Financing to send text messages to the mobile telephone number you provide for the limited purposes described in these Terms.
Text messaging consent is voluntary.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of obtaining products or services from Harris Marine Financing.

5. How to Opt Out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting:

After you send STOP, Harris Marine Financing may send one SMS message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages through our text messaging program unless you subsequently opt in again.
If you wish to receive text messages again, you may opt in again using the same method by which you originally subscribed or another opt-in method made available by Harris Marine Financing.
We will also honor other reasonable requests clearly communicating that you no longer wish to receive text messages.
Opting out of text messaging does not prevent Harris Marine Financing from communicating with you through telephone, email, postal mail, secure electronic communication, or another appropriate method when necessary regarding an active transaction or customer-service matter.

7. Carriers and Message Delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Delivery of text messages is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and other communications providers.
Harris Marine Financing does not guarantee that every text message will be delivered or received within a particular period of time.
8. Mobile Number Changes
You represent that you are authorized to use the mobile telephone number you provide to Harris Marine Financing.
If you change, transfer, or discontinue that telephone number, please notify us so that we can update our records.
9. Privacy
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

10. No Sensitive Information by Text
For your protection, please do not send sensitive personal or financial information by text message.
This includes, but is not limited to:

- Credit or debit card information;
- Credit reports or credit information;
- Tax returns or income information;
- Login credentials or passwords; or
- Other confidential financial information.
If Harris Marine Financing requires sensitive information from you, we will provide or identify an appropriate method for transmitting that information.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Text Messaging Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Any revised Terms will be posted on our website with an updated Effective Date.
Where applicable law requires additional consent to a change, we will obtain that consent.
